Captain's Log: Trip day 7. Enjoyable day with the kids at the hotel and AdventureDome. The kids were able to ride a lot of rides without waiting. Driving down Las Vegas Blvd was an interesting experience. The money and effort put into those few miles is mind boggling.

Since we are now one week Into the trip, I will share a few stats. Approx 2500 miles. 18.1 Mpg.  3.21/gal lowest fuel cost. Cabin pressure peaked at 6.3 on the last big day of driving.

By the way, cabin pressure is not a controllable thing. There are many triggers. Boredom of the older siblings.  Any sharing event can turn into disaster. Traffic jams. Perceived seating injustices. Drive up windows (similar to the ant being cooked under a magnifying glass by the sun). Disorganization of the should be organized stuff.  Anyone causing such disorganization. .. I better not say (just ask MP). Packing and unpacking. Etc.

I better sign off now. Long driving day tomorrow.

  1. My suggestion to resolve cabin pressure over 5.0; Find nearest exit and take it. Follow signs to nearest ice cream store. Exit cabin, order, and Relax. You can add benadryl to ice cream of those who were responsible for cabin pressure increase.

  2. Ann - this is MP. Believe me - if we had seen an exit in some of those stretches of az desert, we would've totally done what you suggest.
