Captain's Log: Trip day 4. 550 miles. High temp 84 degrees. Cabin pressure - 3. Started in Aledo, TX finished in Roswell, NM. We passed through the wind energy capital of North America which apparently is Sweetwater, TX.
We also passed through the short term residence of Redbeard and Blacksmith Billy.
We saw many oil wells and a few solar energy farms. Next we visited Carlsbad Caverns National Park.
It was a great day with unusual cool weather. We saw roadrunners, cactus, mountain goats, cave swallows and a relaxing sunset.
