Hi, this is Slim Jim. I am eleven years old and in fifth grade. I can't wait to go on the trip this June. We have so many things planed, like going to a beach house in CAand seeing Yellowstone.

This is going to be the best vacation ever! My favorite place that we are going to is probably my cousin Evan's house.

The reason that my name is Slim Jim is because I love Slim Jims. My mom made a joke and said that I should be barf bag because last time last time we were on a long vacation I threw up.

I can't wait to go!

Passengers

Captain: Those who think they know the driver, decider-of-bathroom-breaks, and designated packer may see another side of him on this trip. Then again, maybe not.

Mary Poppins (MP): Close your eyes and try to picture the always-gets-shotgun cheerful-except-when-she's-not mom on this trip. If you pictured group singing, you've about got it.

LeMoN: Oldest son. Pushed trip to this year before his legs outgrow the backseat of any vehicle. Retains every bit of information heard or read, even when appearing to be sleeping.

Flip Flop: Oldest daughter. Started packing sometime in 2013 and is pushing hard for an increase in the number of outfits allowed. Foodie, even at campgrounds.

GPS: Twin. Has an innate ability to know if we are headed the right direction. Will call out mile markers every step of the trip unless he is sleeping. Infinite supply of questions ready for every mile.

Slim Jim: Twin. Has extra edge in seating assignments because of propensity (inherited from MP) to motion sickness (may or may not be impacted by slim jim addiction). Sees all aspects of the trip as glass-half-full; peacemaker.

Hummingbird: Youngest. Must be surrounded by cozy pillows, blankets, etc and have her space *just* right, yet has a hard time sitting still - anywhere. Takes trip traits of all her siblings and wraps them into her own unique package. Owns the question: "How much longer?"
